HowlRound: A commons by and for people who make performance. HowlRound is a condition—one that results in a howling noise when sound from a loudspeaker is fed back into a microphone. It’s an amplified feedback loop. All of our content comes from our community. We curate by saying yes. We curate by listening to you. And sometimes when it comes to written content we curate through a rigorous editing process done in conversation with you.
American Theatre Magazine is the nation’s only general-circulation magazine devoted to theatre. Founded in 1984 by the pioneering arts service organization Theatre Communications Group, American Theatre covers theatrical trends and events, stage artists of every stripe, and economic and legislative developments affecting the arts. Its main purview is America’s wide-ranging network of professional, not-for-profit theatres—commercial, amateur or university theatre is less frequently covered—and the magazine does not review productions (but does review theatre-related books). Important international theatre is regularly featured, and significant production in the U.S. and abroad are highlighted under such headings as “Critic’s Notebook,” “Currents,” “First Person” and “Global Spotlight.” The complete scripts of major new American plays, accompanied by provocative playwright interviews, appear five times each year.
TCG Circle is an ongoing blog produced by Theatre Communications Group (TCG), covering a wide range of subjects related to theatre in the U.S. and world-wide. Areas of special focus include Global Citizenship and Global Connections.
International Arts Manager is the only global magazine for performing arts professionals and provides industry leaders fortnightly news and features from the sector. It covers, amongst other things, technological developments, artistic innovations, theatre space profiles and best practice from around the world.
